Santa Barbara's Mediterranean climate is essentially purpose-built for outdoor hibachi. Year-round outdoor service is standard; the South Coast rarely sees cold weather, and the dry season runs roughly April through November. May through October is peak demand for vineyard events, oceanfront dinners, and wedding-weekend bookings. December through March brings occasional rain; we recommend a covered patio or backup indoor space, especially January and February. Wildfire and red-flag advisories can affect mountain-adjacent properties in fall; we flex bookings around any active fire-weather warnings out of an abundance of caution. Do you serve Santa Ynez wine country, Solvang, and Los Olivos? Yes. The full Santa Ynez Valley (Solvang, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Buellton, Ballard) and Lompoc are part of our extended Santa Barbara service area. Vineyard-cottage and winery-property events are some of our favorites in this region.

Can you set up at a Montecito or Hope Ranch estate? Yes. Estate lawns, pool decks, oceanfront patios, and terraces all work beautifully for hibachi. We need adequate clearance from any structure and proper ventilation if cooking under any covered area; we walk through the layout at booking.

What's the minimum booking? A $600 event minimum applies (roughly 10 guests at the standard $60 per adult rate). Smaller parties are welcome; you cover the difference up to the minimum.

Every Santa Barbara booking includes a private hibachi chef, the mobile teppanyaki grill, all ingredients, service plates and chopsticks, the 90-minute live show, and full setup and breakdown. Each guest picks two proteins from chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops, or tofu, with the option to upgrade to filet mignon (+$5) or lobster tail (+$10). Every plate comes with fried rice, hibachi vegetables, a garden salad, and our signature ginger and yum-yum sauces. We accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, keto, halal, and kosher requests with advance notice.
